What you should have:

• Red seal journeyman certification
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code
• Strong knowledge of distribution equipment and BC Hydro standards
• Min. 2- 5 years commercial experience

What you will be doing:

• Plan projects and work through interpretation of electrical drawings
• Organize materials and equipment required for each task
• Maintain safe working practices and conditions
• Communicate with other trades and clients to coordinate work
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues
• Work independently on service calls and projects involving distribution, emergency lighting, lighting, branch circuitry, and fire alarm systems

Nice to have:

• First aid certification
• Fall protection training
• Boom & scissor lift training
• Previous experience running projects
